Cook's Automotive Service, Inc. is an independently owned NAPA Auto Parts and Axalta paint store. We are located in the capital of Silicon Valley. We have provided services to both retail and professional customers in the San Jose area for over 95 years. We are currently looking for a PART-TIME Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team.
Job Description
PART-TIME Accounts Receivable Specialist
Primary Functions:
• Apply payments received via EFT, Credit Card, Cash and/or Checks.
• Update and make daily collection calls on aging accounts
• Review and Monitor 200+ customer accounts for accuracy and maintain accounts up-to-date
• Prepare correspondence and supportive documentation regarding customer accounts with past due balances to ensure A/R Collection.
• Maintain A/R collection notes and documentation for prompt follow-up and communication with customer, sales team, and management.
• Follow all policies and procedures in processing new customer credit applications.
• Prepare monthly A/R aging report and perform A/R assessment analysis.
• Maintain an open line of communication with all employees to ensure quality customer service.
• Be proactive and resolve customer payment history disputes.Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2-3 years Accounts Receivable and General Accounting experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office -Excel, Word
• Ability to multitask and manage time and priorities to meet deadlines.
• Use good judgement and initiative to improve procedures and to produce accurate and professional results.
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Excellent Customer Service and organizational skills
Pay is negotiable depending on experience.Additional Information
