What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services
- Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory
- Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring proper cleaning and inspection
- Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns
- Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs
- Willingness to work in a moderately risky environment with safety precautions
- Availability for ongoing education and training

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in customer service or similar roles
- Familiarity with equipment handling and maintenance
- Certification in forklift operation (offered through U-Haul upon employment)
- Knowledge of propane filling procedures (certification available upon employment)
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude towards customer service
