      JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

      Penn State Abington’s student affairs is seeking an individual to work remotely assisting with data entry and student records for the office of disability services.

      Job Duties

      • Provide support to student disability services with data entry to educational system ELBA.
      • Handles HIPAA AND FERPA compliant information.
      • Entering confidential student data into the ELBA system.
      • Ensuring accommodations are up to date.
      • Keeping students informed of required documentation.

      Requirements and Qualifications

      • Applicants must be detailed oriented, comfortable with multiple computer platforms, understand the duties and responsibilities of working with confidential student data.
      • Must have access to internet.

      The schedule for this opening is typically 5 hours per week and up to 20 hours during peak times in August, September, December, and January. This is part-time opening, and the hourly pay rate will depend on the chosen candidate’s education, skills, and experience.       Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
