- The Electrical Instructor will develop and teach courses that prepare students to enter the field as electrical technicians.
- Remain current with industry standards.
- Performs designated learning tasks with students, such as demonstrating or explaining lessons, monitoring during tests, and assisting with other instructional assignments.
- The incumbent should be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to effectively communicate with adult students and administrators.
- Works under the direct supervision of the administrative personnel according to established policies and procedures.
- Work Evening Hours from 6 pm-9:30 pm.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
General Responsibilities
This position is responsible for teaching adult electrical apprentice students. In addition, the electrical instructor is responsible for preparing and delivering lessons to students enrolled in the adult apprenticeship program.
Education and Qualifications
Qualified candidates will be knowledgeable in their field of choice with a minimum of 2 years of experience, willing to share their professional experiences with students, and enthusiastic about their industry.
The successful candidate will have a current Master Electrician license.
