What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Staff the in-person and virtual Information Desk, providing assistance to patrons
- Respond to patron queries regarding library and information resources
- Navigate common software platforms and troubleshoot computers and equipment
- Process interlibrary loans and assist with student orientation activities
- Contribute to library promotional activities and events

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a highly technological and team-oriented environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to ongoing changes
- Successful completion and passing of a criminal background check

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a library, museum, archive, or bookstore
- Familiarity with online resources such as e-books, databases, and social media
- Proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office, Teams, and Zoom
