What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center
- Utilize smartphone-based technology to manage rentals and inventory
- Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring proper operation and safety
- Clean and inspect equipment, checking fluid levels and overall condition
- Prepare rental invoices and process returned equipment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability for part-time work, including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment weighing at least 50 lbs.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field
- Familiarity with rental equipment and handling machinery
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols
- Willingness to complete required certifications for propane filling and forklift operation
