What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct research on point-of-care biosensors for studying bacterial cells and their antibiotic responses
- Train other lab members in techniques and protocols used in the Ebrahimi lab

- Engage in collaborative projects related to microbiology and device physics

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Background in device physics, optics, and microbiology
- Experience in a research setting, preferably in a university environment
- Ability to effectively communicate research findings both orally and in writing
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to participate in training and mentorship of lab members

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in developing biosensors or working with bacterial cell studies
- Familiarity with neurodegenerative diseases, specifically Parkinson's disease
- Experience presenting research at academic conferences or seminars
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and best practices
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
