What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist faculty in organizing coursework and instructional materials
- Explain biology concepts and provide academic support to students
- Hold office hours and/or review sessions to enhance student understanding

- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions as required

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a full-time registered student at Penn State
- Strong knowledge of biology concepts and coursework
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and students
- Availability to hold office hours and attend departmental meetings

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a tutoring role
- Familiarity with educational technology and online learning platforms
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for teaching and helping students succeed
