      The opportunity
      In this role you will work alongside the Partner Matters Advisors and play an important part supporting the Partner Matters team by offering high quality first-line advice and guidance to Partners and their Executive Assistants (EAs) on a wide range of queries and processes. Your key objective will be to advise on Partner policy, process and practice whilst supporting the broader Partner Matters team with reporting, project work and delivering exceptional client service to stakeholders. In addition, you will be responsible for the onboarding administration of Partner joiners to the UK and Ireland firms, play a key role with the onboarding of internal Partner promotes and support the administration of retiring Partners.

      Your key responsibilities

      • Give clear explanation of Partner policy and process to Partners and their EAs on a wide range of subjects.
      • Make decisions and apply commercial judgement in dealing with Partner policy issues e.g. parental leave, flexible working, timeout, etc. and escalate as appropriate.
      • Guide Partners through the Partner Matters SharePoint site and maintain the site as required.
      • Work with the other Partner Matter Advisors on mailbox management, ensuring that Partner communications are managed to KPIs and responses to enquires from the business and vendors are managed in a timely manner.
      • Case management and administration of Partner onboarding including: offer paperwork; joiner documents; initiate new joiner set-up on our systems; references; medicals; international hires; issue new starter information and welcome emails; escalating non-compliance appropriately.
      • Collate monthly and weekly progress reports and distribute to stakeholders including Recruitment, senior Partners and the management team.
      • Support the annual BRIDGE process for key vendors.
      • Support the retirement process for Partners including those returning as contingent workers, working closely with Partner Finance.
      • Create contractor invoices and maintain contractor schedule, working closely with sponsoring Partner and Partner Finance.
      • Support the internal Partner admit process, working closely with the Partner Matters team on organising medicals, coordinate welcome event and monitor new joiner documentation.
      • Develop and maintain a network of contacts with key stakeholders such as Legal, Partner Finance, Mobility, IT and other functions, demonstrating proactive sharing of information and opportunities to further improve service.
      • Contribute to the Partner Matters team, UK TSS and wider Talent team by identifying trends arising from policy or procedure. As well, contribute to wider Talent projects and initiatives when required.
      • Commit to own personal development and completion of appropriate learning and development activities to ensure capability and skills are current.
      • Take responsibility for keeping up to date with any legal or regulatory EY HR policy and process developments and the impacts these may have on the Partner client group.

      Skills and attributes for success

      • This is an opportunity and we are looking for people who wish to gain in-depth knowledge of the Partner policies, processes and procedures and who strive for excellent client service. As a successful candidate you will have a minimum of one year’s HR professional experience, the ability to demonstrate business knowledge as well as initiative and pro-activity. Previous experience producing and manipulating reports and working on projects.

      To qualify for the role you must have;

      • GCSE level or equivalent
      • Knowledge of operational HR systems and processes
      • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
      • Experience of providing a high-touch service and working with very senior colleagues
      • Experience of leading process improvements and new initiatives in a demanding, quality driven environment.
