      What’s The Job?

      We are searching for an experience, highly motivated Parts Consignment Coordinator to join our Syracuse, NY team. You will be responsible for providing parts and related services to our current customers, focusing on increasing sales of all parts through our in-house consignment program. This position is responsible for ordering, inventory, delivery, and stocking of part in customer locations. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and can expect extensive face to face customer contact throughout the day.

      What Will I Be Doing?

      Here are just a few things you can expect to do daily:

      • Using your positive customer skills to expand the customer base and build customer loyalty
      • Delivering parts to current and new customers to include internal customers
      • Identify parts opportunities and resources required to secure parts business
      • Assist the in-house parts team with phone calls and taking parts orders as needed
      • Position is responsible for ordering, inventory, delivery and stocking of parts for consignment customers
      • Recognize customer needs, providing appropriate solutions to management to help increase business
      • Perform product demonstrations and assisting customers with product application as required
      • Answering phones and other administrative duties as required
      • Maintaining accurate inventory levels
      • Excellent driving record

      • High School Diploma or equivalent
      • Industrial parts experience
      • Industry experience
      • Additional experience required

      Required Skills/Abilities:

      • Verbal and written communication skills.
      • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM, computer programs
      • Excellent customer service skills
      • Excellent organizational and time management skills
      • Strong problem solving, organizational, and time management skills.
      • Ability to remain calm under times of stress and switch tasks quickly

      Physical Requirements:

      • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
      • Must be able to travel
      • Must be able to continuously talk, hear and speak with good articulation and voice control.
      • Must be able to use fingers and hands to handle, feel and reach with hands and arms to lift, file and handle inventory
      • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment under significant stress and meet high performance demands
      • Ability to stand and walk for # hours
      • Must be able to lift up to # pounds at times
      • Must be able to life, bend, twist, kneel, crouch, crawl continuously
      • Possess a valid driver's license with the ability to drive 8 hours
      • Some overnight travel may be required.
      • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

      Salary - The salary for this starts at $20.00 compensation is based on education and experience.
