What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist patients and referral sources with scheduling appointments and provide exceptional patient service
- Manage a high volume of incoming calls, answering professionally and directing inquiries appropriately
- Collect and accurately enter patient demographic information into the system
- Verify patient insurance information and confirm participation with OrthoVirginia
- Schedule appointments according to internal guidelines and respond to patient inquiries regarding visits

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent highly preferred, with applicable work experience substitutable
- 1-3 years of applicable work experience in a call center, appointment scheduling, customer service, or medical office setting
- Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls in a call center environment
- Excellent listening and communication skills to support patients effectively
- Dependable with a commitment to adhering to company policies and expectations

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2-4 years of experience in a customer service role, ideally within the healthcare industry
- Knowledge of medical office operations, clinical and business processes
- Proven ability to promote teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment
