What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Schedule patient appointments for various services, including diagnostic and surgical procedures
- Obtain and verify demographic and insurance information from patients
- Register patients and accurately enter data into the scheduling system
- Meet individual quality metrics while providing compassionate service
- Ensure adherence to the Baptist Health philosophy of service excellence

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Completion of the Patient Access training course
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in basic mathematical calculations and computer applications

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Basic knowledge of medical and insurance terminology
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) applications
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA and Medicare compliance
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or Creole
