WHAT YOU’LL DO

Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Patient Account Specialist (PAS) is to provide exceptional customer service to our patients, families, physicians and colleagues. It is expected that the PAS will contribute to the creation of a billable account ensuring Tallahassee Memorial Hospital's financial stability.

• Manager/Patient Access (JC: 239001)

Supervises:

• None

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:

• Minimum: One (1) year job related experience; previous experience demonstrating direct customer service. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferred: Two (2) or more years of job-related experience; including previous experience demonstrating direct customer service. Ability to operate basic office equipment (fax, printer, copier, scanner). Computer proficiency and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
