What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Schedule and coordinate all internal and external appointments and procedures for patients
- Manage and resolve appointment conflicts proactively
- Complete all non-clinical orders within patient charts in a timely manner
- Maintain physician daily appointment schedules and calendars using EMR and scheduling software
- Answer multi-line phone calls, triage inquiries, resolve issues, and redirect callers as necessary
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be available for a full-time remote position
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Proficiency in managing appointment schedules and coordinating multiple tasks
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines
- Must be within driving distance of the Scarborough office
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or as a Patient Care Coordinator
- Familiarity with EMR and scheduling software
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in a fast-paced medical environment
