      Job summary

      Alvie is the first digital health coaching service for people undergoing or recovering from treatment for cancer. We deliver risk-stratified, digitally enabled programmes of pre-rehabilitation to get people fit for surgery and cancer treatment and to sustain health improvements in the long term.

      Onko programmes are:

      Clinically effective proven reduction in post-operative complications by up to 50% and improved quality of life

      To support the scaling of our company we are looking for an exceptional person to join our forward-thinking, multi-professional team as a Patient Pathway Coordinator.

      Main duties of the job

      We are looking for an enthusiastic person who has a wide range of administration experience within a healthcare setting. Confident, friendly and empathetic when talking with patients, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, highly organised and a passion for delivering excellent patient centered care.

      You will be responsible for coordinating the patient journey. This includes being responsible for patient referrals, appointment booking and undertaking an initial call with the patient, explaining the programme benefits, structure and problem solving any issues they have.

      This is a fully remote role, however you will build strong relationships virtually with our wonderful team. You will be using in-house systems, app technology and as part of your induction will receive specialist training and support on our remote programme.

      You must feel comfortable adapting quickly and managing independently. You will have the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of the service and create opportunities for your own development as the service grows and develops.

      · Making initial patient calls to introduce programme, explain benefits and patient pathway and taking inbound telephone calls to answer queries and booking requests.

      · Using motivational interviewing to explore difficulties in accepting programme place

      · Following correct Information Governance procedures to ensure security of patient data

      • Educated to at least degree level
      • Confident using technology with proven experience with Microsoft Office systems

      • Experience working in a similar role
      • Previous NHS knowledge and experience
