What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide empathetic and precise communication to assist patients across multiple channels (phone, chat, email, messaging, and online portal)
- Maintain and organize medical records while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Respond to insurance-related inquiries and guide patients through coverage options and claims procedures
- Coordinate appointments and deliver essential patient education in collaboration with healthcare providers
- Follow up with patients to ensure adherence to recommendations and address any questions

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum five (5) years of clinical experience working in-person as a Medical Assistant in an urgent care, emergency room, or busy family practice setting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, particularly in a healthcare environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant license required
