      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Professionally respond to patient calls to schedule office visits and procedures
      - Collect and update patient demographic, insurance, and medical history information
      - Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely patient appointments
      - Advocate for patients to ensure optimum satisfaction and care experience
      - Participate in the recall process to remind patients of upcoming appointments

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or equivalent
      - 1 - 2 years of experience as a patient scheduler, preferably in gastroenterology
      - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in a telephone environment
      - Ability to handle high-pressure situations and diffuse problems effectively
      - Basic to intermediate computer skills, with experience in medical software preferred

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience specifically in gastroenterology scheduling
      - Familiarity with medical software such as Intergy
      - Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
