What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage scheduling calls and faxes for all locations in a timely and courteous manner
- Understand and apply insurance pre-authorization rules and scheduling policies
- Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information
- Coordinate with radiologists and referring physicians as needed
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulations during all patient interactions

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent; knowledge of medical terminology
- Medical office experience and previous patient scheduling experience preferred
- Knowledge of health insurance requirements related to scheduling
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
- Basic computer skills required
