What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle scheduling calls and faxes for all locations, ensuring timely and courteous responses
- Review exam preparations, provide directions, and discuss insurance and payment policies with patients
- Coordinate with radiologists, referring physicians, and other personnel to ensure efficient operations
- Ensure proper completion of patient accounts, insurance, and related records
- Manage patient satisfaction calls and maintain compliance with HIPAA and other regulations

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School degree or equivalent; knowledge of medical terminology
- Medical office experience, with a preference for previous patient scheduling experience
- Knowledge of health insurance requirements related to pre-authorization and eligibility
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and healthcare staff
- Basic computer skills necessary to perform job requirements
