What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle inbound patient calls and provide effective information and solutions about products or services
- Enter demographics and other pertinent information into the digital system, ensuring accuracy
- Verify insurance coverage and assess patient needs to provide timely solutions
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
- Coordinate the delivery and setup of equipment and supplies, ensuring timely arrangements

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years in a related administrative/customer service role or high-volume inbound call center; healthcare or medical office experience preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare insurance with at least 6 months of relevant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associates Degree in medical office management or a related field
- Experience with insurance authorization and/or precertification
- Familiarity with home health, DME, and Enteral nutrition products
- Previous call center experience is highly valued
- Ability to demonstrate effective judgment and sensitivity to changing needs and situations
