- High School Diploma or GED
- BLS required
- Ability to learn and demonstrate competency in proper and safe handling and maintenance of patient care technologies and equipment.
- Must successfully complete competency verification before starting on assigned unit.
- Responds timely to direct patient care staff requests for assistance with patient care technology and equipment.
- Operates and troubleshoots patient care technology and equipment
- Appropriately cleans, maintains, and stores patient care technology
- Completes red tag process and transports/reports broken, nonfunctioning, or malfunctioning equipment to BioMed or other department as appropriate such as laboratory or desk top support.
- Appropriately transports and stores oxygen cylinders.
- Maintain compliance with Manufactures Instructions for Use (MIFUs) in One Source system
