What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Verify remittance payments and accurately post them to patient accounts/claims
- Balance and process electronic 835 compliant files for payments and adjustments
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to maintain data integrity
- Identify and resolve billing issues with payors and internal contacts
- Prepare daily bank deposits and balance daily Accounts Receivable

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Successful completion of core competency testing for Payment and Charge Posting Specialists within 90 days of employment
- 1 year of office, insurance, or medical facility experience
- Strong understanding of medical billing and coding principles
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong customer service skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Coursework in insurance (HIAA education series through LOMA), Medical Terminology, and ART/CPC course
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting with claims billing to Third Party Payors
