- Sells credit card processing services using our preferred processing partners to DRB Tunnel and Driverse customers.
- Advises the Sales teams on the various Payments solutions.
- Works with and provides leadership and guidance to Payments team co-workers.
- Looks for ways to maximize Payments residual income.
- Advises customers through payment life cycle
- Works with the Payments product team to consider useful and profitable products.
- Sees customer satisfaction problems through to resolution.
- Explores ways to make the DRB (and vendor) teams more productive by finding ways to maximize processes that are impacted by payment products and services
- Provides Payments industry expertise to the DRB organization.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in payment operations, merchant services, or related fields
- In-depth knowledge of payment processing, fraud prevention, chargeback management, and compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Payment Systems Knowledge: Deep understanding of various payment systems, including credit/debit cards, ACH, SEPA, SWIFT, and emerging payment technologies. Ability to advise clients on the best payment solutions for their needs.
- Financial Acumen: Sound understanding of financial principles related to payments, such as transaction costs, interchange fees, and foreign exchange rates. Ability to analyze financial data and provide recommendations.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve payment-related issues and challenges faced by clients. Proactively address concerns and implement solutions to improve processes.
- Negotiation Skills: Experience in negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with clients and payment service providers (PSPs). Ensure favorable agreements that meet both client needs and organizational objectives.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate payment solutions, strategies, and updates to clients and stakeholders. Ability to present complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Project Management: Ability to manage payment-related projects for clients, ensuring timelines are met, resources are allocated efficiently, and objectives are achieved. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners as needed.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with payment processing platforms, financial software, and systems. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with IT teams for resolution.
- Analytical Skills: Capability to analyze payment data, trends, and metrics to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing client payment processes and improving efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams (e.g., sales, operations, finance) to ensure seamless client onboarding, ongoing support, and resolution of client issues.

The Payments Solutions Manager role will be responsible for selling Credit Card Payments solutions to DRB’s clients and strategic accounts. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure the delivery of exceptional sales, service and support to our clients. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of payment processing technologies, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The position works under general direction of the Sr Director, Payments Sales, exercising discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance in the department.

The base compensation for this position is $85,000 per year. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
