What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Administer end-to-end payroll processing for employees, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, taxes, and deductions
- Manage and maintain the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy and supporting system upgrades
- Oversee benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations, acting as the main contact for benefits inquiries
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and maintain records for audits
- Assist in developing and managing the company's compensation structure through salary benchmarking and market analyses
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll, benefits, or HR operations
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and payroll software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHP, or aPHR
- Familiarity with multi-state payroll and compliance requirements
