Job Description: Job Duties: This position provides analytics in understanding and improving how health care is valued, utilized and provided. This position will assist developing analytic and/ or predictive attributes that pertain to patient level heal utilization/outcome, medical cost management and behavior attributes on patient/provider engagement.
Required Qualifications:

Degree program(s) / Current Status: Undergraduate, graduate, PhD level student with studies in ISDS, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Economics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Economic Analysis & Policy or other quantitative / health care fields of study. Recent graduates in the aforementioned studies may apply.
Cumulative GPA: 3.0+ GPA preferred; minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA.
Other Qualifications:

Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Familiarity with any of the following: SAS, SQL, STATA, R, Tableau and/or Access are preferred.
Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication abilities.
Knowledge of technical/statistical acumen.
Basic knowledge of United States health care delivery system in payer setting or provider setting
Must be able to think analytically and present ideas professionally.
Self-motivated, adaptable to a changing work environment, and team-oriented.
Current students must be able to work 15-20 hours per week during their Spring and Fall semesters and 30 40 hours per week during the Summer. Recent graduates must be able to work 30 - 40 hours per week year round.
Must be able to commute to/provide your own housing in Baton Rouge, LA.
