      Job Details

      We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Payroll Manager to join our Accounting and Finance team. As the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire payroll process for our organization. This includes ensuring accuracy in computations, statutory deductions, and timely disbursements in compliance with federal and state laws. This role is a crucial part of our team, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll management, with a particular focus on 401K and Garnishments.

      Responsibilities

      • Managing the preparation, distribution, and reporting processes for payroll.
      • Overseeing and ensuring accuracy of computations, statutory deductions, and timely disbursements.
      • Managing the company's 401K program, including employee education, enrollment, and compliance.
      • Handling wage garnishments and levies in compliance with federal and state laws.
      • Developing systems to process payroll account transactions (e.g., salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes, and third-party payments).
      • Coordinating timekeeping and payroll systems.
      • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, and internal and external audits.
      • Resolving issues and answering payroll-related questions.
      • Creating and implementing payroll policies and procedures.
      • Collaborating with Human Resources (HR) and Accounting teams.

      Qualifications

      • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
      • A minimum of 5 years of experience.
      • Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
      • Strong knowledge of 401K management and wage garnishments.
      • ADP Workforce Now Preferred.
      • Proficient with payroll software and MS Office (especially Excel).
      • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to handle confidential information.
      • Strong leadership and team management skills.
