What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the Accounts Payable staff and oversee their training and development
- Develop, implement, document, and enforce policies and procedures for accounts payable
- Streamline operations to maximize efficiency and effectiveness through process improvement and technology
- Resolve escalated accounts payable issues from vendors and organizational staff
- Lead system and major project implementations, ensuring timely execution and communication
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a high-volume accounts payable environment through month-end close
- Thorough understanding of accounts payable and general accounting concepts and systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in a management role with demonstrated effective management ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a Shared Services environment
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Familiarity with Sage MAS 500 and Concur Expense/Invoice systems
- Strong time management skills, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
