What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Direct payroll delivery to all employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Collaborate with the HR Technology team to maintain and configure payroll systems
- Manage payroll system needs and optimize processes for efficiency and compliance
- Prepare and monitor payroll tax filings and audits to ensure accuracy
- Serve as the primary liaison with Finance and Accounting Departments regarding payroll matters
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, human resources, or a business-related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience managing team members
- 7+ years of payroll administration and accounting experience
- 5+ years of experience with Workday payroll and ADP processing
- Strong knowledge of taxation, withholding, and reporting requirements across all levels
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Payroll Certification (CPP) is a plus
- Experience in multi-state payroll processing, including California
- Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to respond flexibly in a fast-paced environment
