What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Direct payroll delivery for all employees, including exempt and non-exempt payroll runs
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll reporting and tax authority specifications
- Manage payroll system needs and align technology solutions with business initiatives
- Oversee preparation of payroll reports and monitor federal and state payroll tax filings
- Serve as the primary liaison between Human Resources and Finance/Accounting departments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience managing team members
- Minimum of 7 years in payroll administration and accounting
- 5+ years of experience with cloud-based HRIS payroll systems
- At least 5 years of multi-state payroll experience, including California
- Strong knowledge of taxation, withholding, and reporting requirements at all levels
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Payroll Certification (CPP)
- Experience with Workday or Oracle in payroll processes
