Job Description

Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing for Trimble New Zealand (400+ employees), including IRD returns, payments and correspondence
Act as the main point of contact for employees about payroll
Ensure data integrity from Trimble’s Workday (HR time tracking system) before loading it into Data Pay (3rd Party payroll processing system)
Take ownership of the completion of payroll-related accruals
Collaborate with the broader Finance team to complete monthly payroll-related journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Lead payroll process improvements
Prepare and provide working papers to Global and local auditors
Correspond with Corporate departments in relation to Trimble’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) and Registered Stock Unit (RSU) programs
Experience in Datacom DataPay
Strong understanding of Payroll Legislation
Experience in Payroll change and or processing complex end-to-end payroll processes in a large organization
Demonstrable years experience in a payroll position
Familiarity with Workday is advantageous
Intermediate or Advanced ability to use Excel or Google Sheets
