What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process employees’ and 1099s’ payroll accurately and in compliance with regulations
- Reconcile payroll with Labor Journals prior to transmission and validate reports
- Monitor and review timesheets for accuracy, assisting employees with access issues
- Complete commission reports and ensure timely payment of commissions
- Liaise with accountants for auditing and process year-end reporting as necessary
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass a background check
- 1-2 years of payroll experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and payroll laws
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and familiarity with SharePoint
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- College degree in a related field is preferred but not required
- Experience with management reporting systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with customers
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
