Job Description
- Req#: R23-6065
- Schematic creation/modification using Mentor CAD tools (Xpedition, Designer, Cadence, PADS and Board Station), board mechanical creation, design constraints settings, placement & routing, DRC verification, assembly & fabrication drawing creation, manufacturing files generation.
- Execute the assigned PCB Design projects, managing time to meet projects milestones and schedules.
- Work closely with cross functional teams during the design phase and provide the design status to stakeholders.
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- HS Diploma or GED
- Experience using Xpedition software
- 6+ years of experience in designing multilayer PCBs.
- Schematic Creation
- Schematic Verification using Electrical Rule Check
- Netlist generation
- Board Mechanical creation
- Design Constraints settings including stackup design, controlled impedance
- Parts placement
- Routing (Signal Integrity techniques)
- Design For Manufacturability (Placement, Routing, Board mechanicals, etc.)
- Design Rule Checking and Verification
- Assembly & Fabrication Drawing creation
- Assembly & Fabrication Data generation (Gerber & ODB++, BOM)
- Knowledge of electronic components
- Design layout experience with Rigid, Flex, and Rigid-Flex assemblies
- Read and understand the provided Design Inputs and Design requirements
- Knowledge on Valor tool for Design verification is an added advantage.
- Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Must be a good team player and able to adapt to the work environment.

Job Description
Creates and modifies detailed drawings using CAD hardware and software from sketches, layouts or notes provided by engineering. Contributes design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation or quality of product. Checks drawing plots versus the project input for correctness and conformance to standards. Works with engineers regarding model accuracy, design, drafting standards and ECN/ECR documentation. May work with system management including file maintenance, backup and storage. This is a hybrid role, working three days per week from our Chelmsford, MA office. You will report to the Electrical Engineering Team lead.
