What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide phone support to individuals in crisis, ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Build rapport and engage clients while providing necessary resources and information
- Remain calm and professional while multi-tasking to support callers effectively
- Participate in ongoing meetings, training, and team-building activities with peers
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certification as a Peer Support Worker, Family Peer, Wraparound, or equivalent
- Accepted certifications such as CFPSW, CPSW, and CWF or equivalent
- Current experience as a peer and willingness to acquire certification according to applicable laws and regulations
- Ability to work holidays and weekends

- Previous experience in crisis intervention or peer support roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with resources available for individuals in crisis
- Commitment to personal recovery and professional development
- Ability to work flexible hours, particularly evenings
