What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Engage with callers to provide peer support and build rapport
- Offer resources and information to individuals seeking assistance
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while multitasking
- Work with the New Mexico Crisis and Access Line (NMCAL) to support a diverse population
- Participate in ongoing meetings, training, and team-building activities

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certification as a Peer Support Worker, Family Peer, Wraparound, or equivalent
- Accepted certifications include CFPSW, CPSW, and CWF or equivalent
- Current experience as a peer and willingness to obtain certification per applicable laws and regulations
- Ability to work holidays and weekends as needed

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in crisis intervention or peer support services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and confidentiality practices
- Commitment to personal recovery and growth in the peer support role
