What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Engage with callers over the phone to connect with individuals seeking peer support
- Build rapport and foster client engagement while remaining calm and professional
- Provide resources and information to callers in need
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in a distraction-free private office environment
- Participate in ongoing meetings, training, and team-building activities with peers

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Peer Support Worker, Family Peer, Wraparound, or equivalent certification
- Current experience as a peer with a willingness to acquire additional certification as required by law
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Commitment to personal recovery and ongoing professional development

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in crisis intervention or peer support settings
- Additional certifications related to peer support or mental health services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with the New Mexico Crisis and Access Line (NMCAL) or similar organizations
