What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide peer support over the phone, connecting with individuals in need
- Build rapport and engage clients effectively while remaining calm and professional
- Offer available resources and information to callers
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality in all interactions
- Participate in ongoing training and team-building activities

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Peer Support Worker, Family Peer, Wraparound, or equivalent certification
- Current experience as a peer and willingness to obtain necessary certifications
- Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in crisis intervention or peer support services
- Familiarity with the New Mexico Crisis and Access Line (NMCAL) or similar organizations
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others
- Previous training in mental health or related fields
- Lived experience related to recovery and support services
