What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist families and consumers in defining their Recovery goals and developing necessary skills for recovery
- Support the creation and implementation of a comprehensive Training and Education program for peers, families, and staff
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with Consumer and Family organizations
- Communicate important Plan information to consumers and assist with outreach to community leaders for culturally competent programs
- Provide direct support to consumers being discharged from 24-hour care and assist with Grievance processes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Active and current or provisional Peer Support Specialist State Certification
- Reliable transportation and a current, non-restricted Driver's License with state-required insurance
- 1+ years of working knowledge of community resources
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles of recovery and resiliency

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience as a Peer Support Specialist
- Basic (or higher) proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
