      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Log in to helpline applications and accept incoming calls, chats, and texts
      - Support callers in developing their coping skills and wellness plans
      - Connect callers to the MiCAL crisis line as needed
      - Provide information on various resources, such as shelters and mental health services
      - Document each encounter while in-call and communicate effectively with the Shift Supervisor and MiCAL staff

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Permanent year-round residency in Michigan
      - High School Diploma or GED equivalent
      - MDHHS Certified Peer Support Specialist
      - Minimum of 1 year paid work experience as an MDHHS Peer Support Specialist
      - At-home high-speed internet on a private network and a private, HIPAA-compliant office space

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in a non-profit or mission-driven environment
      - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
      - Previous experience in crisis intervention or mental health support roles
