Pega Lead Systems Architect role will be responsible for technical architecture and designing business driven applications using Pega. The role will identify and understand the requirements and create a dynamic case management solution that can handle LeasePlan’s multi country, multi channel any customer landscape. Inclusive to that, the Lead System Architect should be able to influence the SA, LBA, PO and other IT stakeholders to accept and adopt best or alternative solutions

Key responsibilities

• Provide architecture and design guidance to project teams.
• Provide technical oversight for the Pega Implementation and ensures Pega’s best practices and guardrails are considered in implementation to create scalable, secure applications.
• Partner with Pega CoE and Solutions Architects to deliver to LeasePlan’s architecture compliance guidelines, security requirements and design standards
• Identify and understand the future scope of the implementation and adopt a reusable framework-based approach into designs.
• Ensure the Pega application is developed with a Global perspective enabling the reusability between multiple LeasePlan’s entities
• In accordance with Pega CoE, establish the technical governance structure, processes and assure same is adhered to by development teams
• Coach and review the work of junior team members and ensure it meets required standards
• Ownership of overall framework solution and how to design the framework in PEGA
• Application deployments across various environments using Pega Deployment Manager pipelines
• Independently performs problem determination and resolution of the production issues
• Actively monitor the Pega trends, best practices, and new/updated services offered
• Create/Update the documentations required for solutions proposals, integration specifications, etc.

Qualification & competenties

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field;
• Pega Certified Lead Systems Architect
• Proven track record of building Pega applications in a global company
• Expertise in mapping functional requirements to Pega features and functionality
• 6+ years’ experience in building and managing applications using Pega version 8 platform
• 2+ Experience working in a technical leadership role
• Work experience in Pega app and dev studio and Pega Deployment Manager
• Excellent people management skills
