- 2-5 years related data development, data modeling, data warehouse or other BI related work experience. HR data or BI related experience preferred.
- Experience with statistical modeling and descriptive statistics
- Experience with SQL, R, Python, Tableau, power BI, or Information Builder
- Experience in Data Warehouse tools (SQL Server, Azure, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.)
- Strong experience in querying data, data interpretation, report generation, and visualization
- Experience in maintaining/creating documentation and effectively explaining requirements, design, development, and testing
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within database structures
- Knowledge of and practical application experience with testing methodologies
- HR specific data development preferred.
- Strong data development skills (data structures, warehouse, business intelligence and visualization tools)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including macros and pivot tables in Excel.
- Self-starter with ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong analytical, process mapping, and procedural documentation skills
- Strong attention to detail, analytical acumen, intellectual curiosity, and a proven self-directed work ethic
- Understanding of interdependencies between various systems and downstream impact
- Strong internal drive, cross-section team-working, and planning skills

This position is based in Salt Lake City and must relocate. We are looking for a People Data Analyst to assist the People Analytics Program Manage.Job SummaryResponsible for functional and technical support of the Company’s existing and future People Office Data Modeling, Reporting and Analytics portfolio, including the ability to generate insights on areas such as workforce KPI metrics (talent, retention, operations, and succession), workforce planning projections, engagement and exit surveys, as well labor availability/market data. The People Data Analyst will gather, develop, and provide the necessary data foundation, reporting and insights to drive human capital needs, bridging analytical data with the strategic people needs of the organization. The position will be instrumental in developing and maintaining a comprehensive People Office employee data and reporting structure, which will lead to reduced turnover, higher employee engagement and increased productivity. Collaborating closely with the People Analytics Program Manager, the People Data Analyst will gather detailed requirements, compile business and functional design documents, and translating those into meaningful data models, tables, reports and dashboards for end users. Additionally, this position will support other areas of the People Office and the organization in developing complex reports and supporting downstream business processes and systems. The People Data Analyst will participate in the on-going transformation of the People Office technology environment ensuring tools, processes and systems continuously meet the evolving organization. This position will also support strategic and analytic research needs to ensure UTA continues to identify and follow established best practices.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION/TRAINING:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics or Mathematics.EXPERIENCE:Knowledge/Skills:
