- To assist the People Services Advisor and People Services Team Lead with the recruitment of all of staff groups in accordance with agreed recruitment procedures.
- To be a point of contact for recruitment and general HR enquiries via email, phone and in person, referring to senior colleagues where appropriate.
- Undertake e-filing of personnel records which may include sensitive and confidential documents.
- To invite applicants to interview, set up, complete and issue interview panel packs, etc
- To assist in administering all pre-recruitment checks for under-offer candidates within agreed procedures, timeframes and standards, seeking direction, where necessary. This will include:
- Ensuring that satisfactory references have been obtained
- Professional registration is verified where applicable
- Occupational health clearance is obtained
- Identity is verified
- Eligibility to work in the UK is checked
- DBS checks are carried out
- To undertake ad hoc projects in relation to the recruitment/retention of staff
- Liaise with HR colleagues, managers, staff and Payroll services to ensure the effective resolution of payroll and other queries.
- Act in ways that support equality and diversity and the rights of individuals, ensuring own practice is in accordance with trust policies. Identify and act when own or others action undermines equality and diversity

Job summary
Please note interviews will take place at Dukes Court, Woking GU21 5BH on the 22nd of April 2025.
As a member of the People Services team, you will be the main point of contact for all General People Service inquiries. You will provide efficient support to CSH employees, managers, and HR colleagues in resolving queries. Additionally, you will support the People Service Advisor with managing and delivering monthly compliance reports.

Main duties of the job
HR Enquiries: Serve as a primary point of contact for general HR queries via email, phone, and in person, escalating complex issues as needed.
Recruitment Support: To support the People Services Team Lead and the People Services Advisor in the full-cycle recruitment processes for all staff groups, adhering to established procedures.
Interview Coordination: Support hiring manager in coordinating interviews.
Pre-Employment Checks: Carry out comprehensive pre-employment checks for successful candidates, including references, professional registration checks, occupational health clearance, identity and eligibility verification, and DBS checks, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Recruitment/Retention Projects: Participate in ad-hoc projects aimed at improving recruitment and staff retention strategies.
