This role is a hybrid position based out of our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, which requires Employees to work onsite on our Corporate Campus at least three days a week. The Department designates the specific three days of the week Employees must work on-site.
U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. required and no current or future work authorization sponsorship available .
- Work with various Customers to identify requirements while understanding changes to business processes and procedures, and help with the implementation and delivery of the initiatives
- Lead communication and engagement advice and activities that bring our employee value proposition to life for our people
- Anticipate large-scale, complex challenges within domain, including risk, dependencies, timelines, scope, etc. Drive solutions within a Team/group without being a subject matter expert
- Manage Customer expectations effectively and help drive innovation in Customer areas
- Monitor project milestones and deliverables
- Partner with Senior Leadership and COEsto lead various activities required in the ongoing development and delivery of strategic initiatives Communicate with key Stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives
- Confer with project Stakeholders to identify and resolve problems
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems
- Skilled in identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
- Skilled in bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences
- Skilled in understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
- Ability to tell or recognize when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong
- Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand
- Ability to produce unusual or clever ideas about a given topic or situation, or to develop creative ways to solve a problem
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Advanced-level experience, expansive and far-reaching knowledge in:
- Consulting
- Strategic planning
- Analytics
- Leading cross functional projects
- Human Resources

- Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
- Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
- Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.

This role also works closely with internal Customers and key partners to help lead People initiatives that support strategic objectives . The People Strategy and Planning Consultant is a strong communicator and strategic thinker who looks forward to driving impactful initiatives at Southwest.

Competitive market salary from $102,500 - $113,900pending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the
