Job Description
- Req#: 503125
- Assist with manuscript writing and preparation for submission to peer-reviewed journals.
- Update literature review, including managing citations and references.
- PhD or Doctorate in public health or a related field
- 1 year of relevant experience
- Literature review skills and familiarity with web and literature search terms and logic
- Proficient using Microsoft Office, NVivo, Zoom
- Ability to work remotely, independently, while keeping collaborators up-to-date on progress
- Excellent writing skills

Job Summary
The Research Scientist will work with Dr. Amy Carroll-Scott and collaborators to complete several papers related to the creation of a trauma index. This index was based on a literature review, interviews with violence prevention program directors and staff, and an index of Census tract-level indicators pulled from publicly available data sources.

This is a part-time Per Diem position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
