Take your performance testing skills, technologies, and career to the next level by joining one of Europe’s leading Performance Engineering teams. Work in a fast-paced environment using the latest tools and technologies where there is significant investment in Performance Engineering and emphasis on continuous improvement.

What you'll do:

• Assist in defining project scope assessments, estimation and planning, work breakdown and tracking of delivery against plan.
• Script and build real world test scenarios simulating large campaigns such as the iPhone Launch and Black Friday.
• Detailed E2E results analysis and reporting covering the infrastructure, application, and database tiers.
• Support our multi-million pound performance testing environments, and the tool solutions driving them.
• Contribute to the evolution of our approach, strategy, guidelines and practices
• Provide and support our associate engineers

What you'll bring:

• A strong desire to understand the “why” of performance issues and not be happy just to report response times.
• Experience using industry standard load testing tools such as Loadrunner/ALM, Jmeter or similar.
• Experience with either Java, JavaScript or any other high-level programming language.
• Experience with monitoring, visualisation and time series database technologies such as Grafana, Influx, ELK, Graphite, Prometheus, Dynatrace, App Dynamics or similar.
• Experience using CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus, GitLab or similar.
• Knowledge of virtualisation/containerisation technologies such as VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, Fluidcloud or similar.

Our spacious tech hub is less than a mile from Leeds train station. There’s plenty of parking in the surrounding streets and at the nearby CitiPark.
