      Job summary

      Even with the national cervical screening programme, some women will develop a cervical cancer.

      Your role will be to provide efficient personal assistant and secretarial service to the Cervical Screening Provider Lead.

      You will assist investigations and analysis of the effectiveness of the MSECSP.

      Your role will be to act as first point of contact for communication with consultants and other medical staff.

      You will provide support to the multi-disciplinary team members, to liaise with departments across the Trust, general practitioners, patients, relatives, and visitors, and other organizations outside the Trust.

      Resolve queries as appropriate and undertake office duties as required as part of the multidisciplinary team.

      Main duties of the job

      Prioritise workload and complete within prescribed timescales

      Respond promptly and effectively and appropriately to telephone enquiries

      Manage all correspondence appropriately

      Accurately and appropriately update and maintain spreadsheets as required in line with Local and Trust Policies.

      Maintain effective communication (verbal/written) with consultants, G.P.'s, patients etc.

      You will provide a full secretarial service to the CSPL

      Act as the first point of contact for users of the Trust, dealing with telephone calls and enquiries promptly and efficiently, providing immediate response and referring as necessary.

      You will ensure all correspondence is dealt with appropriately and safely using local and Trust policy (GDPR)

      Effectively manage patient pathways in line with Trust and National Access Policies targets and legislation.

      Ensure that abnormal investigation results are brought to the attention of the clinicians thus avoiding clinical risk, and potentially serious circumstances.

      Organize your daily calendars & routines.

      Ensure that results of tests, investigations and any correspondence received are recorded and filed in the appropriate way
