What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide administrative and technical support for personnel security operations
- Conduct background investigations and make suitability/fitness recommendations
- Initiate and monitor background investigation accounts in the appropriate systems
- Draft correspondence and documentation for second-level review
- Conduct pre-employment inquiries and follow-up for issue resolution
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of one year of experience in adjudications for the Federal Government
- Minimum of one year of case work processing for the Federal Government
- Successful completion of formal training in suitability adjudications
- Experience conducting database checks and interpreting credit reports
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Applied knowledge of the GSA USAccess system for PIV credentialing
- Experience in adjudicating complex and multi-issue cases
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to gather detailed information
