We are looking for an Investment Operations Analyst to join our PGIM Operations, Regulatory reporting team which is part of PGIM Operations and Innovation’s group (O&I).

In this role, you will be empowered to contribute in a meaningful way, add new value to organization initiatives and effect change.

Our team is responsible for providing recordkeeping, accounting, reporting and technology services for the investment portfolios supporting the Insurance Companies. Additionally, we support all investment data for the Chief Investment Officer and the Chief Risk officer for Prudential.

This position is based in one of our offices in Tampa, Florida or Newark, NJ, following a hybrid schedule (2 days in office).

Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely and/ from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. Working from the office is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration.

What you can expect

• Providing accounting, financial reporting, and recordkeeping support for Prudential and its subsidiaries

• Processing journal entries related to market values and accounting support.

• Following STAT and GAAP accounting rules for processing Bond & Equity Securities

• Provide support to the Securities Reporting Team which consists of reconciling, reporting, and analyzing Bond & Equity security positions and transactions by utilizing the PAM Investment sub-ledger system, and the General Ledger (Oracle)

• Support with Ad hoc projects

• Monitor data integrity.

What you will bring

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or Economics (with a Minimum 2.8 GPA)

• Strong organization skills

• 0-2 years of working experience in a similar field; Candidates with no prior experience will also be considered.

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word

• Knowledge of investment accounting and of various investments instruments

• Strong analytical, critical thinking skills and solutions oriented.

• Ability to understand and analyze basic accounting principles and financial statements.

• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a deadline and fast paced environment.

• Overtime required during peak periods.

What will set you apart?

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to summarize and communicate complex issues effectively, both orally and in writing

• Knowledge of Oracle General Ledger.

• Prior working experience in investment management or financial services Industry is strongly preferred.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $60,000 to $72,000 Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
