What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the liaison between medical staff, outpatient pharmacies, insurance providers, and patients to improve communication and continuity of care
- Review patient demographics and medication history to identify barriers and opportunities for intervention
- Enhance patient service experience through benefits investigations and prior authorization services
- Facilitate access to prescription and medical benefit medications, addressing formulary and coverage issues
- Coordinate services with internal patient care teams to support patients with limited financial resources

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience and education
- Pharmacy Technician registration in Illinois, or ability to complete registration in Missouri within 6 months
- Ability to lift/carry and push/pull objects weighing up to 25 lbs frequently
- Frequent use of vision, hearing, and speech for communication and information sharing
- No prior experience required

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare-related role is a plus
- Familiarity with insurance reimbursement processes and patient assistance programs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Bilingual skills could enhance communication with patients
