Calling medical doctor offices to clarify prescriptions and typing prescriptions.
Calling patients for outcomes of prescriptions.
Interact with various departments on a timely basis
Comply with safety, quality assurance, accreditation, legal, state, and federal regulatory requirements
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards
100% customer service-based pharmacy technician will be on the phones 90% of shift.

Comfortable being on the phone, data entry, positive attitude
Dose calculations
Computer savvy typing at least 40wpm
Some Knowledge of Specialty medications is preferred

Pharmacy Technician II - Remote Texas
Position Purpose: Specialty Pharmacy - Customer Service / Call Center
Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of pharmacy technician or medical office (i.e. biller, coder, office assistance, or prior authorization/certification) experience. Familiarity with drugs commonly used to treat chronic/debilitating illnesses.
AcariaHealth: State pharmacy technician license(s) relative to where the employee and assigned pharmacy are located. (Texas license TSBP & PTCB)
Training & Working Shift: 9:30am - 6pm (CST) - Monday - Friday
