- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pharmacy Technician registration, certification, or license in the state of employment as required by the individual state.
- One (1) year of experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting. Experience in a medical or behavioral health setting is preferred.
- Must possess a current valid driver’s license in good standing in state of employment and be insurable by the designated carrier. This role is required to drive for company
- Travel up to 5% may be required for this role.
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university.
- Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a medical or behavioral health setting.
- Trained in EHR software and how to obtain assistance from EHR help desk and/or IT.
- Prepare take homes for dispensing by the Pharmacist.
- Assist the Pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medication and take homes
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs.
- Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Perform general clerical duties as needed.
- Other duties as assigned

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the Pharmacist in the preparation of prescription medication as ordered by the physician, maintaining the drug inventory and maintaining patient records in a manner consistent with all federal and state regulations, DEA best practice, and facility policies and procedures. All activities are directly supervised by the pharmacist.
